Uruguayans used little information when switching health providers. We co-created ATuServicio.uy with the Ministry of Health by publishing Open Data with over 300 individual indicators (waiting times, prices, performance indicators and more) of every health provider in Uruguay, both public and private, and making it easily accessible by a civic tech platform that multiplied access to data by 7.000% and impacted on secondary objectives as data quality and even a decrease in health service costs.
