D21 implemented School Participatory Budgeting Projects in two schools in Kitwe, Zambia. “My School, My Vote!” successfully achieved to
– Help 4100 students gain civic skills and a positive experience of democracy;
– Create an engaged school community built on trust;
– Provide teachers with insights into students’ needs.
Students were excited about a new sense of a community while teachers and headmasters enjoyed the interactivity that the School PB brought to their civic education class.
